How to uninstall / remove Google Toolbar?

  • Uninstall Google Toolbar (Internet Explorer)

      Uninstall from the Toolbar
      If your Toolbar has a wrench icon, follow these steps:
      1. Click the down arrow next to the wrench icon on your Toolbar.
      2. Select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
      3. Click the Uninstall the Google Toolbar button.

      Uninstall from the Control Panel
      1. Click the Start menu button on your computer's taskbar.
      2. Select Control Panel.
      3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
      4. Select Google Toolbar for IE.
      5. Click the Remove button.

      If your Toolbar has a wrench icon, follow these steps:
      1. Click the down arrow next to the wrench icon on your Toolbar.
      2. Select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
      3. Click the Uninstall the Google Toolbar button.

      Uninstall from the 'Add-ons' window
      1. Click the Tools menu at the top of your Firefox browser window.
      2. Select Add-ons.
      3. Select Google Toolbar for Firefox.
      4. Click the Uninstall button.



      5. Close all Firefox windows. When you reopen Firefox, the Toolbar should be removed.
