How to search track and album with BearShare?

Searching for Tracks and Albums

This is the BearShare Search and Download screen, here you can find and download your favorite music and videos.

Tracks colored blue are tracks that are either currently downloading or are already in your library.

Search options 1 - Simple Search (Default)
    1. Select "Search' from the Navigation Pane:

    2. Enter your search in the search field:

    3. Use the Auto Suggest window to see searches containing the word you've entered. This is useful when you're not sure of the right spelling or when you only know the first word of the search term.

    4. Use the "UP" arrow or the mouse to select a suggested search from the list.

    5. Use the first search filter to limit the search to certain media types: Music only, Video only, or both music and video (unlimited search).

    6. Use the second search filter to limit the search to certain categories: Artist Name, Album Name, Track Title, or All (unlimited search).

    7. Click the "Search" button to begin the search.

    8. You can halt the search by clicking the "Stop" button (appears instead of the Search button)

    The files that were found are displayed in the search pane.

Search options 2 - Advanced Search
    1. While in the Search section, Click the Advanced Search link in the upper right corner of the search pane:

    2. The Advanced Search pane opens:

    Search track and album

    3. Enter the required information to limit the search and find exactly what you are looking for

    4. Click the "Search" button to begin the search.

    5. You can halt the search by clicking the "Stop" button (appears instead of the Search button)

    The files that were found are displayed in the search pane.

Search options 3 - BearShare Premium Search Only
    Checking the "BearShare premium only" checkbox ensures that you get only the latest songs from BearShare Premium. This is the good stuff.

    Search track and album

    Clear the checkbox if you want to get results from all sources (including free Peer to Peer content)
