How to Run SpyHunter on Safe Mode?
SpyHunter will hunt down and remove from your machine spyware/adware.

- Safe Mode is a special mode that you can start your computer on. It disables most of the features and drivers on your machine and allows the SpyHunter Software to remove parasites that would not be removed on Normal Mode.
Follow the instructions below to restart your system in Safe Mode and remove the remaining parasites.
To start the computer on safe mode:
1. You should print these instructions before continuing. They will not be available after you shut your computer down in step 2.
2. Click Start, click Shut Down, and then, in the drop-down list, click Shut down.
3. In the Shut Down Windows dialog box, click Restart, and then click OK.
4. The computer will shut down and restart. When you see the first screen (should be a black screen with white text) or if you see the message "Please select the operating system to start", press F8.
Note: If you see the screen with the windows logo, you went too far and if so, you need to wait until the computer starts on Normal Mode and go back to Step 2.
5. You should see the options below. The options vary with the version of your Windows that you have installed in your computer.
Startup options
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows Normally
6. Use the arrow keys to highlight "Safe Mode", and then press ENTER.
Running Spy Hunter on Safe Mode:
Spy Hunter will not automatically start on Safe Mode, even if you have set it up for that. You need to locate the Spy Hunter Icon on your desktop and double click it.
When you have the Spy Hunter program loaded:
1. Click on Scan Options and check "MD5 Check"
Note: You must have the MD5 Check option enabled otherwise you'll not be able to fully remove the infection.
2. Click on Start Scan.
3. When the scan is complete, click on Start Remove.
4. When the removal process is done, repeat Steps 1 and 2 one more time. Once you have finished Step 2 for the second time, reboot the computer.
Note: You don't need to repeat the scan more than twice. The reason why we advise the customers to run the scan twice is just to make sure that there's nothing remaining.
5. Let the computer restart on "Normal Mode". DO NOT Choose "Safe Mode" again. If prompted, choose the option "Start Windows Normally" or "Normal".
6. After rebooting the computer, repeat Steps 1 and 2.
7. If Spy Hunter still detects parasites in the scan, please click on the Generate Support Log Button (if you have the version 1.6) and/or report what's left to our technical support team and we will inform you how to remove the leftover items.
