Save your Product Key

1. Open Norton 360.

2. Click My Account.

3. Click Access Norton Account.

4. If you have the option, type in your Email Address and Password for your Norton Account, then click Sign In. Then skip to line 8 below.
If you do not have the option to sign in to your Norton Account, click Next to register Norton 360.

5. Click Create a Norton Account, then complete the form.

6. Click Next, then click Next again to continue to your Norton Account.

7. Type in your email address and password that you used to create your Norton Account, then click Sign In.

8. Click Norton 360.

9. Write down your Product Key, you will need this later.

10. Click Sign Out.
If you are using the online backup feature in Norton 360, continue with STEP 3 below.
If you are not using online backup, then skip to STEP 4 below.

Download and run BUdump.exe

Budump.exe backs up your Norton 360 Secure Online Storage backup settings, and restores it when you reinstall Norton 360. Budump.exe runs quickly and silently. If you do not back up your files to Secure Online Storage, then skip to Step 4.

1. Click the button to download BUdump.exe.

2. Click Save.
Save the file onto your Windows desktop.

3. On the desktop, double-click the BUdump.exe file.

4. Click Run.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products and Norton 360 from your computer. If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you proceed.

1. Download the Norton Removal Tool.
Save the file to the Windows desktop.

2. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Your computer may be restarted more than once, and you may be asked to repeat some steps after the computer restarts.
