How to Find and Remove Duplicate Files?

There is nothing wrong with my system. Probably you are wrong, as there might be lots of duplicate files or folders, which seems no threat to your PC. However more and more duplicate files may take space to store them. In order to keep your hard drive space allocated reasonably, let's find the duplicates together!

Step 1. Download Dupe Checker Pro and Install It

1. There is a download link under this page, click "Related Downloads" and store it.
2. After your download, install this tool immediately, which has been tested that there is free from spyware as well as adware.

Step 2. Launch It and Learn the Operations

1. After installation, you could launch Dupe Checker Pro and you will see the interface as follow:
   


2. Next, to select the area which you want to scan. The whole hard drive disks as well as a single folder are available here. Select a folder once and then click Add Folder.
   


3. After the second step, next required step is to click "Search Dupes" button. Once you click it, this program will seek the twin files automatically.
   

Note: If the dupe files are found, you could remove the superfluous files by clicking "Dedupe"-- the tab is on the top of the interface.
