How to Recover NTFS Volumes with DiskInternals NTFS Recovery?

Step 1 - DiskInternals NTFS Recovery v1.22 starts with Welcome window. Click next.

Step 2 - The next wizard window asks you to select a partition or a physical drive for recovery.

The program doesn't change anything in your file system while scanning, so you can safely scan even the system volume. In our case, the scanner runs on a single physical drive with system folders. At this step you can also mount the image of a drive without actually getting it connected, or create a new virtual partition by clicking on Map Virtual Partitions.
