iRecover
iRecover is a Windows based, read-only data recovery utility.

iRecover does not repair the damaged volume or disk. Instead it analyzes the damaged source and rebuilds a "virtual file system" in memory. From this virtual file system you can recover data by copying it to an intact drive.

iRecover recovers data even if the hard drive's partition table, boot record, FAT/MFT or root directory is lost or damaged. Possible causes for this could be virus attacks, accidentally formatted or repartitioned disks, power failures, programs accidentally deleting files, program failures.

iRecover offers FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Ext2 file and RAID level 0 + 5 reconstruction.
