How to record midi or karaoke files and embed lyrics in those files?

FlexiMusic Wave Editor cannot open MIDI or KARAOKE files directly. The easiest way to edit the audio in MIDI or KARAOKE files is to record in FlexiMusic Wave Editor playing the MIDI or KARAOKE files.



Record Midi or Karaoke:

    1. In FlexiMusic Wave Editor, Use the File > New command to create a new file. For CD quality recording, use stereo, 16 bits and a sampling rate of 44100Hz.

    2. Click on the screen once to select the position where you would insert the recorded wave sound.

    3. Click the Record button (the red circle) on the tool button.

    4. In Recording window click "Volume" button, to open the "Recording Source Volume Control" window. In that Click on "Show Others" button, it will open up the "Other Volume Controls" window in that mute the Microphone and close.

    5. Choose Mixer or Stereo Mix in the Recording Source drop down list. Click on "Volume" button to open the "Recording Source Volume Control" window, and then adjust the volume for Stereo Mix to the highest possible performance.

    6. Click the "Start" button to start recording. When you want to stop recording, just click "Stop" button, Click "Done" button to finish recording and the destination sound file is there.

    7. To save your recording, click the File menu and choose Save command.

Embed Lyrics:

    Use the Paste-Mix or Paste-Insert command for this.

    Paste Mix: Mixes the wave in clipboard with the wave in selected location.
    Paste Insert: Inserts wave to selected location from clipboard.

    1) Open two wave files side by side, the source file and the destination audio. (You can use the top tab to switch between files).

    2) Make sure the formats of both files are same, change it if needed using the format menu (Menu > File > Format), you can view the format in the bottom of the waveform window.

    3) Adjust the volume of each.

    4) Select the part in the source file and copy, (Edit > Copy).

    5) Go to the destination file and use the paste command (Menu > Edit > Paste-Mix or Paste-Insert).

    6) Save the file in a new name.
