Norton 360 version 2.0 includes a number of new features and enhancements based on listening to user feedback and evolving our all-in-one protection suite to stop the latest threats.
New Features in Norton 360 2.0:
Browser Protection - Browser Protection secures your web browser against drive-by downloads from malicious web sites by plugging common vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer.
Identity Safe - Identity Safe provides you with a convenient and secure way to manage and submit logins,
passwords and other private information during web browsing. Identity Safe automatically detects, stores and secures logins and passwords, and also supports different Identity Cards such as an anonymous profile for unfamiliar sites, a corporate profile for business purchasing, or a social profile for dating sites.
Network Management
Network Map - The Network Map provides you with a visual picture of
your network and each device that is connected to it. Users can remotely monitor
the security status of other Norton-protected PCs via the Network Map.
Wireless Security - Wireless Security helps you determine whether your connected wireless network is secure or not secure.
Trust Controls - Trust Controls allows you to change the firewall settings governing access authorization from within the Network Management console.
Scan, then Shutdown - Norton 360 allows users to time-shift their tasks by providing an option to shutdown their PC upon completion of a scan, backup or tuneup.
Backup Destination Support - Extends backup destination support to
Blu-ray and HD-DVD optical disc formats as well as to
iPods. Multiple Norton 360 backups can now use the same shared network drive.
Backup Status Indicators - Clearly identities which files have been backed up, which are pending backup and which are excluded from backup.
Backup File Preview - Users can simply click on the Preview button to view and confirm the content of a selected backup file.
Registry Cleanup - Registry Cleanup helps optimize Windows performance by removing unneeded registry files.
Diagnostic Report - The Diagnostic Report collects detailed system information from various parts of the Windows OS and delivers it to you in a saveable, printable format. This efficient system snapshot facilitates troubleshooting and tech support calls when issues arise.

Norton 360 User Interface
Quick Tasks - Users can access Quick Tasks from the Main user interface to take action in a single click.
Settings & Quick Controls - Tasks and Settings have been separated to provide more direct navigation to configuration options. The Quick Controls panel on the Settings page provide easy access to commonly used settings.
Product Feedback - Norton 360 includes a product feedback mechanism for users to submit feedback directly to the Symnatec development
Phishing Protection and Web Site Authentication for Firefox - Extends detection of fraudulent and verification of legitimate sites to the Firefox browser
Smaller, Quicker Norton Toolbar - Shrinks the screen real estate of the Norton Toolbar and accelerates phishing detection capabilities.
Right-Click to Scan/Add to Backup - In addition, Norton 360 has more tightly integrated with Windows to allow users to simply right-click on a particular file to scan it for threats or to add it or exclude it from backup.
Restore Search - Enhances the search capability for restoring files from backup to include file types, wildcards, and folders
Bandwidth Throttling - Provided automatic throttling of network bandwidth to allow online backup in the background without interrupting a user
Browser Cleanup - Identifies and removes any unnecessary clutter on your disk such as Windows Temp files, Internet Temp files, Internet History files, and Internet cache files in both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.
Settings Migration - Migrates common settings such as backups, passwords, quarantined items during overinstalls.
