Mae Q'West and the Sign of the Stars Game Tips & Tricks
- There can only be one game in progress at a time. Make sure to select "Continue" when you come back to play. Selecting "New Game" will erase your previous progress.
- Many of the levels use "Shopping List Gameplay". You are challenged to locate all the items on the list, including a "Key Item", which is marked by stars in the list.
- Another type of level uses "Differences Gameplay". Find the key item and the differences. NOTE: you must click on the actual item on the correct side of the screen. This does not have a dual¨Ccursor. The differences alternate sides, so you screen may be a bit different than the screenshots posted here.
- Each item has monetary value, with the more difficult items to find being worth more.
- To complete a level, you must locate the "Key Item" and a percentage of the shopping list or differences The "Solve" button will highlight when you have collected enough items. You can also monitor this in the phone menu bar. You will see the minimum number of items required to complete the level along with the overall percentage.
- In order to get 100% for the level, you must find all the items.
- Hints cost $5 and you are limited to 4 per "Shopping list" screen and are limited by your funds in the "Differences" levels. Shuffle is free and will rearrange the shopping list. Missed clicks cost $1 each.
- You can replay each level, but it will cost $100 and you will lose any previously earned money and stars on that level.
- You will receive text messages through out the game that will give you hints about the level or general information on Mae's adventure. Click on the "Messages" Button in the phone menu bar to read the most current message.
- The World Map displays Mae's progress. Depending on the chapter, you will have one or more available levels. Areas that have not been unlocked or discovered will appear gray and completed areas will be in color. This is also where you will access the Zodiac Map.
