1. Prep the small machines first - Before anything else, make sure that your candy, coffee and hot chocolate machines are prepped first and always double-click when picking up the last of one of these items. This way, you'll always have these items ready when you need them.

2. Don't waste cupcakes - Whenever Jessica has items in her hands, if you have her place those items where they belong, she'll pick up any items encompassing that space. For example, if you place batter in an oven that has baked cupcakes in it, she'll pick up the cupcakes before putting in the batter. Make sure that the cupcake prep station is free before doing this, otherwise you may find you have two hands holding baked cupcakes and nowhere to put them - except the trash!

3. Save special orders for last - Special order customers can be held off until closing time by feeding them candy to keep them happy. Trying to fill a special order in the middle of the business day can ruin your flow and result in not filling enough regular orders.
