Step 1, Download Shield Deluxe 2008To install, open the Shield Deluxe setup dialog box using one of these methods:1. Download from a CD, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. When the opening screen appears, click on Shield Deluxe and then "Install now". 2. Download from our website. Step 2: Welcome to Shield Deluxe 2008Click "Next" to continue.
Step 3: End User License AgreementRead the End-User License Agreement.Select "I accept the terms of the Lincense Agreement". Click on "Next".  Step 4: Select Destination FolderThe Shield Deluxe 2008 application will install in the "C" drive. The "C" drive is the default setting.Click "Next" to continue.  Step 5: Choose Setup TypeClick on Complete.Click "Next".  Step 6: Ready to InstallMake sure the "Enabled Self-Defense" is removed.Click "Install".  Step 7: Installation CompleteClick "Next" to continue. Step 8: Setup Wizard: The Shield DeluxeWe recommend selecting "Activate using the activation code".Click on "Next".  Step 9: ActivationEnter the activation code which you received when you purchased the Shield Deluxe.Please provide contact information. Click "Next" to continue.  Step 10: Interactive ProtectionWe recommend "Basic" mode.Click "Next".  Step 11: UpdateClick on "Automatically".Click "Next" to continue.  Step 12: Scans MethodSelect the appropriate scan method.Click "Next".  Step 13: Password ProtectionClick "Next". Step 14: Install CompleteRestart your computer to complete installation.Click "Finish".  Step 15: Windows System TrayThe Shield Deluxe Icon appears on your system tray located on the lower right hand corner of your screen next your time.Step 16: After InstallationMake sure to update the Signature Files.Also it is recommend to perform a full computer scan.
