Important things you need to know about Mozilla Firefox
Recently, Mozilla has updated its web browser Firefox to the new stable version Firfox 3.5.5. In the new relesed Firefox, Mozilla has fixed a lots of program bugs, solving the problem of compatibility. Well, according to the statistics data, now Mozilla Firefox has become the second most popular web browsers for user that is just less than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Frankly speaking, Mozilla Firefox is really perform well in some features, but nothing is perfect, there will be some defects in Mozilla Firefox web browser.
Well, most of Windows users often complained that IE always breaks down with unknown reasons when you surf Internet with it. Mozilla Firefox is an open source web browser that is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux etc. multiple platform. and users could add customised plug-ins for their Firefox in order to create a personalised web browser. Now the followings will tell you the advantages and disadvantages about Mozilla Firefox.
Advantages
1. Plug-ins and crossplatform supporting - Mozilla Firefox is an open source web browser which allows user to develop and add extra plug-ins onto Firefox to increase the functions of your Firefox. What's more, there are also customized skin for Firefox, so you are able to change the interface of your Firefox, that is wonderful. Mozilla Firefox will not run only on Windows, but also on Macintosh, Linux etc.

Also provided menu bar - Different with Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0, Mozilla Firefox provided the menu bar always so that user will get more from Mozilla Firefox, they can add bookmark, do customised setting more easily. Actually, the menu bar in IE does not show by defaultly, so you should customize the setting by yourself. This is a little complicated.
Disadvantages
1. No Omnibar address bar - In Google Chrome web browser, there is a Omnibar address bar which allows user to search with URL or domain Anti-Phishing. But there is no Omnibar in Mozilla Firefox.
2. Window preference - Usually, most of web browser has added tab browsing that is you open a new webpage in a tab instead of a new window with your web browser, so that you can swith the view as soon as your wish more easily. But in Mozilla Firefox, you should open a new window, and then a new links. So the default setting may make some of user disappointed. But this is up to personal hobby, if you like, that is well.
To sum up, though there is some disadvantages in Mozilla Firefox, you can not deny that Firefox is still a well performed web browser for user on different platform, especially the plentiful plug-ins, they can let user to create a customized web browser to surf Internet in their own ways.
