How to use Rip and Unprotect to backup DVD

STEP1: Choose the mode that you want to backup.

If you want to clone the DVD, then choose Backup Entire DVD disc. On the other hand, if you want to copy only the main movie part, then choose Backup Main Movie Only. If your DVD is DVD-9, a checkbox will be visible. This checkbox allows you to choose if you want to compress your DVD-9 (8.5 GigaBytes) movie so that it will fit a single DVD-5 (4.7Gigabytes) disc.

Note:

If you want to split your DVD-9 into two DVD-5 discs, then choose the last option.

STEP2: Select the directory.

You can choose the directory where you want to store your backup DVD files.
