How to upgrade KIS 7.0, KIS 2009 to Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010

Russian Kaspersky Lab has launched Kaspersky Anti-Virus (short for KAV) 2010, the latest version anti virus program. Now if you are still using old version Kaspersky products, now you can upgrade it to the new KAV 2010. Sometimes, you may use the Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS), it does not matter, you can also upgrade KIS to latest KAV 2010. The following instructions will tell you in details.

Step 1. First you should uninstall your old version KIS from you computer. Click "Start" button, choose "All program"-> Kaspersky Internet Security-> Modif, Repair or Remove. Tip: uninstall the old KIS program completely, NO config files left.
Step 2. After uninstalling old version KIS, restart your computer and start to install Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010
Following the wizard, it will guide you to complete the installation.
Step 3. After the installing process, you should activate your KAV, so that your anti-virus application could update to a latest virus library in time. Type the activate code in the blank box. If you has no activate code, you could activate a trial license and try to use KAV 2010 in a month.
Soon or later, the installing will finish. Now you have already upgraded your old version KIS to the latest Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010.
