How to upgrade KAV 7.0, KAV 2009 to Kaspersky Internet Security 2010

Kaspersky Lab has released Kaspersky Internet Security (short for KIS) 2010, the latest version network security program. So if you are interest in this helpful application and wanna experience it, now you can upgrade it to the new KIS 2010. Sometimes, you may use old version Kaspersky Anti Virus (KAV), it does not matter, you can also upgrade KAV to latest KIS 2010. The following instructions will tell you in details.

Step 1. First you should uninstall your old version KAV from you computer. Click "Start" button, choose "All program"-> Kaspersky Anti Virus-> Modify, Repair or Remove. You must uninstall the old KAV program completely, NO config files left.
Step 2. After uninstalling old version KAV, restart your computer and start to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
Following the wizard, it will guide you to complete the installation.
Step 3. After the installing process, you should activate your KIS 2010, so type the activate code in the blank box, please. If you has no activate code, you could activate a trial license and try to use KIS 2010 ONLY one month. OK, restart your computer, it will finish installing automatically.
Upgarding old version KAV to KIS 2010, you have to uninstall KAV completely, or it may cause problems when you upgrade it to KIS 2010. These two programs can not run at the same time in one computer.
