Step 1: Make sure you install it, and double clicks the icon of vlc media player. Makes it run.
Step 2: Click "View", choose "Advanced Controls" button. Then vlc media player will change to the format of advanced controls. And the button of "Take a Snapshot" will appear.
Step 3: Open the video, you can select the video you want to play using the "Browse" button.
Step 4: when the video starts playing, go to click "Snapshot".
Once you have done that, the Screenshot will be saved in your "My Pictures" folder. This operation is quite easy.
