With the development of the digital technology, there is the number of formats of video. Sometimes we want to watch some video in some formats but that our player doesn't support this formats. For example someone has format of ogg, but his player doesn't support this format and he want to convert it to MPE4. So what will he do?

Vlc media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols without external codec or program. It can play MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 / DivX files from a hard disk, a CD-ROM drive, and DVDs, VCDs, Audio CDs and so on. Now our problem has been solved with vlc media player. Step 1: After you install it, double clicks the icon of vlc media player. Make it running.



Step 2: Click "Media" and choose "Convert/Save", then a dialog box will be appear



Step 3: In the "File Selection" pannel, click "Add" button, choose your ogg file that you cant to convert, the your selection will be in the text box.

Step 4: Click the button of "Convert/Save", choose the format of MPE4. And determine the output filename.

Step 4: Click the button of "OK", VLC media player will start to convert.

After above steps, wait for some minutes. You file which format is OGG has been coverted to the format of MPE4. Using vlc media player easily can convert files from one format to another.
