Guide on how to set a provider as default in Internet Explorer 8

Step 1: Ensure you have downloaded Internet Explorer 8, and installed it.

Step 2: Open the Internet Explorer 8. Make this bowers running.

Step 3: Cilck the down arrow right of the Instant Search box in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer 8 browser.



Step 4: Choose "Manage Search Providers...", there will be a dialog box out.



Step 5: Click "Search Providers" button in the left of pannel. as usual this button is as adefault. A all of your providers appear in the right frame.



Step 6: Choose the providers which you want to be as a default. There two buttons of "Set as default" and "Remove" appear in the bottom of this pannel.



Tips: The provider you set as default will not be removed. In another words, if you choose the default provider, those tow buttons("Set as default" and "Remove") will disable.

Step 7: Click "Set as default" button, and save your change
