How to adjust picture brightness/colors/contrast?

Most of people like to watch movies or some other videos. But sometimes, we do not feel comfortable with the video's color, bright or contrast. Sometems, its color is too deep, and anther time it's too light. Sometimes, it's too bright, another time it's too dark. In this conditions, we would like to ajust the color, bright and contrast. What should we do?

Step 1. Run the vlc media player, and click setting on the menu.

Step 2. Click the Extensible User Interface. The Hue, brightness and contrast buttons are all gray, that means they are not available.



Step 3. In this pannel the Audio Effects is default. But if you want to ajust others such as Video Effects, Synchronization, you shoul click these button. So click the button of Video Effects.

Step 4. Set the button of Image adjust. Now the hue, brightness and contrast buttons are not gray, os they are available.



Step 5. You just need to move the buttons. The color, bright, and contrast can be ajusted.
