How to format a memory stick for PSP?

- Press the 'Home' button from the bottom left of your PSP.
- Push the left arrow key several times, until you are in the 'Settings' column.
- Press the down arrow key several times, until you have the 'System Settings' icon selected. Then push the 'X' button.
- Press the down arrow key again a few times, until you have 'Format Memory Stick' selected. Press the 'X' button.
- The Sony PSP will now ask you to confirm that you want format the memory stick. Select 'Yes' and press the 'X' button. Then wait about 5-10 seconds until the formatting is complete.
