How to exclude data from an image?

When using the imaging method Used Sector Imaging you have the option of excluding data from the image or compression. Please follow these instructions for excluding data:

1. Mark the drive you wish to image with a tick



2. Please make sure that the image method Used Sector Imaging does exist under Options

3. In the window Image Options click on Advanced User's Guide for O&O DiskImage 2

4. Under File Filter click on Image. Press the button on the right to select fi les

5. Select on the right in the program window the data you wish to exclude from the image.

You can of course only exclude data that exists on the drive you have selectedExclude fi les from Image



6. By using Add you will exclude the checked data from the image. A new window will then appear

7. Once you have completed your exclusions you can close the window. The changes you made will now be incorporated 24 l Image Options User's Guide for O&O DiskImage 2

Note:

Depending on the amount of data on the hard disk, the exclusion of fi les may take a few
minutes.
