Step2: Browse the Webpage Needs Protecting.

Step3: Setting Protection Levels.

PageLock allows you to select several protection options:

2. In addition to the standard encoding, the additional options can be set by checking the applicable check boxes: Disable right mouse clicks Prevents the user from right-clicking on the webpage to display the pop-up menu that allows them to perform various functions such as save images. Disable text selection Disables the selection of text. This usually prevents attempts to select text using the mouse, the 'Select All' function in the Web browser and keyboard shortcuts. Disable drag and drop Disables the drag and drop functionality.
3. Click Next to continue.

 

Step4: Specifying the Export Folder.

Specify where you want PageLock to export your protected webpage/website.
1. The Browse for Folder window is displayed. If you do not see the window, select the Browse button.
2. Locate the folder where you would like your website exported to. Select the Make New Folder button if you need to create a new folder.
3. Click OK to use the folder you have selected and to close the browsing window.
4. Click Finish , then wait for PageLock to finish protecting your files.
Once PageLock finishes the protection of your files, it is strongly recommended that you test them prior to uploading them to your website, as not all webpages may be suitable for protection.
