We all know how fast hardware gets outdated, think of Moore¡¯s Law. So, we need a powerful program to help as keep our machine up to date. My Drivers is a nice choice.
The following shows how to backup drivers with My Drivers.
Step1: Install and Run My Drivers.
This program is a light weigh one, so, the installation won't take you much time, you could finish it in
seconds. If you don't have the setup file, you could download it here.
Then launch My Drivers.
You can see each button explains itself well, so you could easily operate this program.
Step2: Collect Hardware Device Information.
If you Click
, it will get the list of all the drivers currently on your system,

And if you Click
, it will get all the non-Microsoft drivers.
Since, if you reinstall you OS, all the drivers about windows Microsoft already offers, so only backup the non-Microsoft drivers is enough.
Step3: Start Backup.
After Fast Collect, select a certain device whose driver you want to backup, then click
, select a destination folder, then click 'Start' button.
You could hold 'Alt' key, click your mouse, you may select more than one driver at a time.
If you want to backup all the drivers to a folder, just click
,and you will have all your hardware devices extracted and backed-up.
If you want to backup the selected driver to an EXE Installer, Choose from the menu 'Backup'->'Backup selected to EXE installer' or 'Backup all drivers to one EXE installer'.
