How can I divide my DVD video into chapters?

You can divide your video into chapters, i.e. to create a single level menu that allows you to select which video to play. To create chapters:

  • Step 1: Open input file clicking the Browse... button
  • Step 2: Select To DVD as output format
  • Step 3: Click the Edit button
  • Step 4: Add the markers indicating the beginning of each chapter using the timeline
  • Step 5: Use the Edit DVD menu button AVS Video Tools to see the created menu and DVD Menu Style drop-down list to select the menu style
  • Step 6:Close the Edit window
  • Step 7: Press the Convert now! button to start conversion.

To add markers:

Step 1: Put the timeline cursor at the position where you'd like to set a marker.

Step 2: Click the Add button located in the Markers area. The name of marker shown as Position:# will appear in the markers list. AVS Video Tools

Step 3: Use the Edit DVD menu button AVS Video Tools to see the created menu and DVD Menu Style drop-down list to select the menu style.
