How to Decrypt Files with 1Click Encrypt?

1Click Encrypt To perform decryption operation, you must choose a key.

A list of Files or Folders which were encrypted earlier using the specified key will be displayed on the upper grid. You can select a file of folder and click "Decrypt" button. This file or folder( along with all the files contained in it and its sub folders) will be decrypted.



Enter the full path of the folder or the file and Click "Ok" button. The status of decrypting is displayed in the lower grid.

You can also drag and drop the file or the folder on to the 1Click Encrypt window. 1Click Encrypt will automatically decrypt it for you, if it was encrypted with the same key with which you are trying to decrypt.

1Click Encrypt uses Drag & Drop technology to provide fast and easy encryption or decryption.
    You can drag a file or a folder from Windows Explorer and drop it onto 1Click Encrypt window to encrypt it.

    You can also drag an encrypted file or folder from Windows Explorer and drop it onto 1Click Encrypt window to decrypt it.

Unlike some other encryption programs that use passwords to protect data, 1 Click Encrypt uses cipher keys.
  • Key is a block of information that gives it's owner full access to encrypted data.
  • Key is saved in a file with ".k1c" extension and can be given to any other person if you want this person to decrypt your files.
  • Random keys are much harder to break then user passwords because passwords are easily predictable while random keys are not.
