Creating a new hotkey
- To create a new hotkey, click on the New button to popup a wizard that will guide you through the creation process. The wizard has the 4 steps:
1: Select the hotkey event type. More information on the hotkey event types below.
2: Configure the event properties.
3: Enter a name for the hotkey
4: Select the key combination to activate the hotkey.
NOTE: You can drag and drop a file into the application window to create a new hotkey for that file.
- 1. Right-click on the hotkey to duplicate in the Keyboard Hotkey List.
2. Select Duplicate in the popup menu to display the General page of the Duplicating Hotkey dialog.
3. Change the hotkey name if needed.
4. Select a new key combination to activate the hotkey.
5. Select the second page of the Edit Hotkey dialog and edit the event properties inside the page.
6. Click OK to save the changes.
- 1. Select the hotkey to edit in the Keyboard Hotkey List.
2. Click the Edit button or double-click on the hotkey to display the General page of the Edit Hotkey dialog.
3. Change the hotkey name if needed.
4. Select a new key combination to activate the hotkey if needed.
5. Select the second page of the Edit Hotkey dialog and edit the event properties inside the page.
6. Click OK to save the changes.
- 1. Select the hotkey to delete in the Keyboard Hotkey List.
2. Click the Delete button or press the keyboard Delete key.
3. The Delete Hotkey Confirmation dialog will be displayed.
4. Click Yes to confirm the hotkey deletion.
- To enable a hotkey, simply check the box on the left of the hotkey in the Keyboard Hotkey List.
To disable a hotkey, simply uncheck the box on the left of the hotkey in the Keyboard Hotkey List.
