How to Create a CHM file From HTML Format?

Are you curious about an online Help (Manual)? Do you want to download the online Help and make it offline, since sometimes surf Internet is a little inconvenient(poor connection, websites maintenance....)? Why not create a CHM file from an HTML Help file? CHM means "Compiled Windows HTML Help files", which is a self-contained file system and equivalent to a hard driver. OK, now let's learn operations of creating CHM files from HTML.
Step 1. Download PowerCHM and Install It
- There is a download link provided--find "Related Downloads" and click it.
- You could install this program as soon as possible after download.
Step 2. Launch It and Learn the Operations
- When you install this program, launch it and you will see the interface as follow:
- You could select this icon (red signed)
or a hotkey "Ctrl+D". Then you may make a decision on which folder to be opened. After open the destination files (folders), click "Select".
- When you selected all the files (folders), you can execute CHM Compile to create CHM files. You could click this button
or Press F8. Next you could wait for the results!
