How to copy a video/movie to your PSP?

2. If You Want to Transfer a DVD Movie to PSP
DVD's cannot be transfered directly to PSP, but you can convert them to the PSP format by using 99bytes DVD to PSP/iPod Video Converter, available from: http://www.downloadatoz.com/dvd-video_directory/99bytes-dvd-to-zune-psp-video-converter/
After converting your DVD, continue to section 3 below.
3. Next Step: How to Copy/Upload/Put/Transfer a Video/Movie onto Sony PSP
There are two methods of doing this: the first works for all the PSP's, while the second works only for PSP's having the firmware greater than or equal to 2.80. If you don't know what firmware version your PSP has, go to this page about How to Find out what Firmware is Your Sony PSP Running.
Here's the first method - which works for all PSP's:
- 1.Connect your Sony PSP to your computer.
2.When the Memory Stick shows up on your computer as a new drive, create a new folder in the root directory of the Memory Stick, called MP_ROOT. If that folder already exists, then move on to the next step.
3.Inside the MP_ROOT folder, create a new folder called either 101MNV01 or 100MNV01. It doesn't matter which one you use; this folder is where you must copy all of your MPEG-4 videos. Again, if the folder already exists, move on.
4.Copy/upload/put/transfer your videos into /MP_ROOT/100MNV01 or /MP_ROOT/ 101MNV01.

5.Disconnect your Sony PSP from your computer.
The second method is somewhat easier, but works only if your PSP has at least firmware version 2.80.
Here are the steps for the second method:
1.Connect your Sony PSP to your computer.
2.When the Memory Stick shows up on your computer as a new drive, create a new folder in the root directory of the Memory Stick, called VIDEO. If that folder already exists, then move on to the next step.
3.Copy/upload/put/transfer your videos into the VIDEO folder.

- 1.Navigate to Video in your PSP menu.
2.Select the Memory Stick from the Video menu.
3.Press the 'X' button.
4.Pick the video you want to watch from the list.
5.Press the 'X' button again.
6.Enjoy the movies!
