River Past Video Cleaner

River Past Video Cleaner uses standard Microsoft DirectShow components as its foundation, with our own Pulse Regulator technology to streamline the timecode. We guarantee the compatibility of the encoded video, and often it is the only way to fix out-of-sync problems in some videos.

System Requirements :To convert FLV files to MKV with River Past Video Cleaner, you should have DirectX 8.0 or above,FLV Splitter , Matroska Pack and ffdShow installed.

How to Convert FLV TO MKV?

1.Download River Past Video Cleaner and install it.

2. Run it by double clicking the "River Past Video Cleaner" icon on your desktop.


3. Click on the "Add" button on the tool bar. The standard file open dialog appears. Select "FLV - Flash Video" in its "Files of type" combo box.

Note: To convert from FLV files, you must have FLV Splitter installed.

4.Click on the toggle to the left of the "Output Format" label to expand the panel. Select" MKV - Matroska Video"as the "File Type". .

Note: To convert to MKV files, you must have Matroska Pack installed.

5. Video settings:Click on the toggle to the left of the "Video Settings" label to expand the panel.

Select "Specify" under "Size" and/or "Frame rate" to enter the video resolution and/or frame rate.

You can change the compressor, quality, size, and frame rate of the video.

6.Audio settings:Click on the toggle to the left of the "Audio Settings" label to expand the panel. Select the audio compressor for the conversion. Depending on the compressor, you may also change the sample rate, channel (stereo or mono), bits/sample, and bitrate.

Do not use "MPEG Layer-3" as the audio compressor. It does not work correctly in video files and often causes the conversion to abort in the middle. If you prefer to have MP3 audio in the AVI file, download lame_enc.dll instead.

7. Expand the "Output Directory" panel. Use the button to select an output directory.


8.Click the "Convert" button on the tool bar.
