How to configure Windows XP Firewall for Spyware Detector?

The following exe files will have to be allowed if you are using any firewall or internet security suite.

1) LiveUpdateSD.exe
2) SpywareDetector.exe

Click Start, Control Panel, double-click Network Connections, right-click the desired connection, Properties>Advanced tab, under Internet Connection Firewall, uncheck the option " Protect my Computer and Network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the internet ".

This should help you to Registration and Live Update of Spyware Detector.

Note: This is not a limitation on the part of Spyware Detector but Windows Firewall has blocked it, which you need to permit.
