How to capture a screenshot with PowerDVD?

PowerDVD

Step 1
Open your PowerDVD program and press the play button to start the movie.

Step 2
Locate the Configuration button (shown above) on your User Interface (or press "Ctrl-C").

Step 3
After clicking on the Configuration button a menu will open up. Click on the "Advanced..." button near the bottom of the menu.

Step 4
Click on the Capture tab in the Advanced Options menu. You will be presented with several options for capturing an image (see image below and left). For the first example we will choose to capture the image and save it to a folder. To do this, you need to choose "Capture to File", and then click the Browse button. Then you need to find a folder where you want to save the captured images. For this example we have chosen a folder named "My Captures". Once you have selected the appropriate folder in which to save the image(s), you can click OK and exit the configuration menu

Step 5
Now you are ready to start to capture your image(s). With the DVD title playing, go to the scene(s) you wish to capture.

Once you have found the right scene(s) you will need to locate the Capture frame button on your User Interface (see image below).

Click on this button at the moment you wish to capture the image.

TIP:
You may first want to pause the movie you are playing and use the "Step Forward" feature to make sure that you capture precisely the scene that you want.
