RN-Emerg - this NEW application has had a complete facelift. While geared toward the Emerg setting, it has many features any Nurse would find handy. It contains the following: Common EKG strips with brief descriptions, myocardial infarction reference data including EKG changes, ACLS quick references for asystole, PEA, bradycardia, chest pain, CHF/shock, NCT, WCT, Vfib/pulseless Vtach, Continuing education credits and a shift log. The application also has calculators for: Parkland formula, drip rates, CrCl, peds weight, peds ibuprofen/acetaminophen dose and pregnancy expected due date. You will also find Reference material for GCS, APGAR, rule of nines(peds and adult), normal vitals/danger signs in peds and a neonatal resuscitation inverted triangle. Automatic med calculators for the following meds are included: Aggrastat, amiodarone, ventolin, bretylium, diltiazem, dobutamine, dopamine, epinephrine, integrilin, labetalol, lidocaine, phenylephrine, nitroglycerine, nitroprusside, norepinephrine, procainamide and propofol.
