Strength:
With this tool, you can set time to shut down your PC easily and conveniently. There are several considerate prompts when we start to use Ez OFF. It is a skinnable gadget.

Weakness:
The speed of installation is a little slow; the installation takes lots of time to wait, and there is a plug-in in this facility. There is a lack of minimum button on its interface.

Benefits
This tool provides us a new concept of time-planning, for it helps us easily schedule or force a shutdown of our PC. We might forget to shut down our PC sometimes, especially in a hurry. Though a computer could startup Hibernate or screen saver, it is no good phenomenon, for it’s not only waste resource of electricity, but also gives off more Carbon dioxide into air. I think we should do something to protect our environment from now on, and this tool could do us a favor.
Ez OFF offers us a weekly list as well as a time area for us to select. It can be seen as a time-planner, by which we can pay more attention to our working time. This program lets us either choose a specific time or set a countdown timer for the shutdown of our computer; there is also a choice for a busy computer user to run his computer all day long. It is really considerate for users.

Setup
I feel a little bored when it starts to install—not the installation steps, but the installation of its plug-in, which is a Microsoft product. Though there is no malicious ware in it, yet this plug-in takes a long time to wait. After installing it, the real installation of Ez OFF continued. That is to say, if we skip the installation of its plug-in, the whole installation will quit.
Should you want to remove this program, it does offer us a shortcut to uninstall. It is very convenient to uninstall automatically; otherwise we have to remove the software by Control Panel.

Interface
This tool is a skinnable one and there are 16 choices to change its skin. There are seven bars (arrayed by a weekly order) on its main interface, which could let us set every day’s agenda. There is a main button which could enable or disenable the operation of time setting. It is very easy for a beginner to use, let alone an experienced user. So the interface of this tool can be called friendly, for its practical use, beautiful skin with easy operation.

Ez OFF runs on Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista. The size is about 1,411KB, and there’re no other requirements as it is a light weight program.

Conclusion
This program is featured as parental control software, while the main function is not limited to control kids on playing computer overtime—adult could also schedule his time by using Ez OFF. Sometimes when we concentrate on computer games, we may forget time and waste too much time on it. So it is also a good time-planner for us to control time—“your computer will shut down in 3minutes”—this warns us the importance of time, doesn’t it? Time is money!
