Calendarscope, by Duality Software is a slick calendar program that's simply loaded with features and functions. In testing it out I used it for a wide range of time management functions.
For example, I put in birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, and even slated a vacation for next year. Calendarscope also lets you schedule tasks including recurring tasks. Another cool feature of Calendarscope is reminders. You can customize things like colors, fonts, and so on to give it a personalized feel.
Items can be color coded using a system you determine and tasks can have a status like completed, or active. The program also offers multiple views so you can see things by day, week, month, and so on. Another really cool feature of Calenderscope is that you can synchronize it with your mobile devices.
The program supports Palm, Pocket PC, and Windows Mobile devices and syncing is done via HandySync. In working with this program I was impressed with some of the little extras it has. For example, if you put in a yearly event like a birthday and tell the program the persons age, it will show you the correct age next year. So, you can know if it's someone's 16th birthday or 25th anniversary. Cool.
Among some of the other cool features available in Calendarscope are encryption of data, configurable time scale, the ability to put your calendars on the Web, support for hyperlinks, archiving, backup and restore, and lots more. So, if you want a calendar that will keep you organized and working smoothly, this may be the solution you've been looking for. Give it a try, I recommend it.
