A great epic adventure in fantasy world of warriors and wizards, that brings together classic atmosphere of constituent games of the RPG genre with plenty of new features packed together in superior graphics and level design.
Pros: This game is a light weight one and it could run both on PC and Pocket PC.
Cons: It is designed for people who have some experiences on playing RPG game. For a novice, it is a little difficult to play.
Benefits:
A good RPG game could let us forget about our daily routine. We dive into the amazing world it builds, enjoy the mystery and adventure, and have a great fun in it. Undercroft is such a game that you could choose your Heroes (5 characters with unique skills and spells) and lead them through the world full of risky turns and joyful surprises. There are over 60 kinds of enemies waiting for you, and hundreds of items helping you complete the mission. Undercroft supports Pocket PC, so you could also enjoy this game even on a trip. It is quite convenient, isn’t it?
Set up:
The installation is easy and straightforward, you could finish it in seconds. There is no adware as well as spyware, it is 100 percent clean.
Should you decide to remove this game? The uninstallation is as easy as installation. It does offer us an Uninstall button, click that, the entire program will be removed, and there will be no useless files or folders left in our hard drive.
Interface:
Since it is a small size game, the graphics are vivid but a little rough compared with many other big RPG games, such as Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia and so on. All the actions are listed on the panel. Through mouse click, you could let characters move, attack, defense, etc...
System Requirements:
In PC, it works on Windows 2000/XP, and the game is stretched to window of size of 640x480 pixels. Since Undercroft is a lightweight game (the setup file is only 3.2MB), the hardware requirements could be ignored.
In Pocket PC, Windows Mobile 2003 / Windows Mobile 5.0 is required.
Conclusion:
Undercroft is a nice game, which does a good work among small RPG games. So, it is very worth to have a try. If you don’t feel satisfied with the interface, and think the actions are too easy, I strongly commend Prince of Persia to you, which will probably meet your needs.
