Your spaceship is equipped with some amazing firearms and rockets but in the course of the game you will still need to upgrade to more sophisticated arms and buy some additional shields for your spaceship. Occasionally you will have to build a self repair unit on the planet as well. Those aliens are just to many to keep them all away just by yourself.
