Pros:
It's an elaborate game for players to experience how a plant grows. As for a novice to play it, there is a choice for him to make: would you like some help? If so, there will be some detailed instructions during gameplay.

Cons:
It seems very random for players to try, yet a beginner will be confused without knowing what to do.

Game Review:
This is the successive works of Fish Tycoon, a similar game which lets players to breed fishes. So you may know the plot of this game, yes, a plant - breeding casual game to relax.

As its name shows, you should nurture as well as experiment your plants with caution. There is a special design which surprised me at first: plants could be sold! I was confused a little at the very beginning.

When I visited it at a second time, a warning showed that one of my seeds had died because of the cheap soil. Isn't it funny? I used the default tool to plant my seeds. When I was about to check the dead one, it hinted me to sell plants in order to collect money. Now, you could know the reason of dead plants - we need money and love to nurture them.

There is the most important point for players to notice: as it is a real - time mode game, you should pay attention to your play time. For example, you played it once and forgot it for weeks; your plants will definitely die out of long - time carelessness.
Actually, it's no hard job to deal with. before you end playing each time, click "Main menu" - "Option" or turn off the clock altogether.

 Start to nurture your plants

After you plant the seed and use the watering pot on the soil, you must wait for the plant to blossom, prune its dead leaves (but don't do it too much or it'll die), pollinate the plants to create new seeds, and then sell the plants in the nursery.

Customers stroll in and come up to your creations -- such as a Jalapa Ball Cactus, Spotted Maple or more exotic cross-pollinated hybrids - and then buy them if they're the right price.
If customers continuously overlook your plant you may need to drop the price down a tad to attract interest and invest in nursery upgrades including cherub statuettes and fancy fences.

System Requirements:
It runs well on Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP and Vista. The RAM requires 96MB and it would take up 30.51MB hard drive space.

Conclusion
As you can infer, this game is a good way to kill time and it requires your talent in planting. It's also very challenging and full of fun factors; while the game is a hard task for a beginner to play, for he would not know what to do next. The instructions are shown to players yet there is no definite injunction to hint.

Plant Tycoon is a good way to learn biology during spare time. It's an educational game for kids to try as well.
