Benefits:
Fat Cat Hearts is developed for entertainment - several game variations are implemented. Through this program, you could play cards with 1, 2, or 3 other real people over the internet or a Local Area Network or just with computer generated opponents. There are many settings you could tweak including Game Variation (the default game variation is Shoot the Moon), Card Deck - which allows you to choose a different card deck, Card Room - which allows you to choose a different room to play hearts in, and you could also change the game speed, game points, and game challenge.
If you want to win, you have to beat your brains. This game not only help you kill time, but also train your mind and give you a chance to meet some people you don’t know but have the same hobby, maybe you will be friends.
Set up:
Fat Cat Hearts uses Microsoft Agent technology for the computer generated hearts players as well as Genie (the game advisor). When you install this program, you have to install Microsoft agents as well as a text to speech engine unless this game will not function. However, both these peripherals are included with the game archive.
Should you decide to remove this game? It does offer us an Uninstall button, click it, the entire program will be easily removed. And there will be no useless file left in your hard drive.
Interface:
The interface of this game is gorgeous, and you could easily operate it, since each button is well explained. The three buttons on the right side are used to control the hearts players at the table and the agent (default agent is Genie). The text next to the agent icon will change to Genie is Silent. All characters can be silenced by clicking the Exchange Characters button, then click the Character Options button. Select the Output tab and deselect the Play Spoken Audio check box.

It works well on Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP and Vista. TTS (Text to speech engine) L&H TTS Recommended; Direct X7 (direct sound and direct play needed); Microsoft Agent version 2.0 or higher; SAPI 4.0; High Color (16 bit) color palette with a minimum 1024 x 768 screen mode, 24 or 32 bit color is acceptable. Conclusion:
Fat Cat Hearts is a nice recreation tool if you like playing hearts or want to kill time. However, excessive attention to plaything saps the will, so just for fun for game, don’t get addicted in it.
