Webwasher Classic - the original. Designed for use on clients and for smaller-sized networks. Webwasher filters out unwanted advertising and protects the surfer's privacy by filtering cookies, referrer strings and Web bugs.

Configuring WebWasher is a breeze. Simply click the various functions in order to activate them directly or configure them to suit your requirements in subsequent steps.
The settings are all handled identically. In larger corporate networks, it makes sense to install WebWasher? on the server, however, since this significantly reduces the amount of administration work required.
Ideally, WebWasher then becomes the basis for implementing the company's strategy in regards to staff Internet use.
WebWasher provides the user with controlled access to the Internet so that desired information gets through and unwanted Web pages and data are blocked.
Negative lists -
Access Control blocks access to unwanted Web pages so that explicit and illegal sites are not accessable. It is also possible to prevent the download of certain forms of data, such as software programs or music files.
Positive lists -
Completely blocks access to the Web so that only specific websites are permitted. For example, this allows employers to limit employees Internet usage to content relevant to their job, i.e. supplier catalogs.
Options - Access to blocked pages can be redirected to a freely definable Web address. This option enables the display of an individual info page or the automatic transfer to alternative content.
