My Movies
My Movies for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition is the ultimate movie collection management and playback tool. With My Movies you are able to index your movies with automatically downloaded data from the internet, and then browse movies, actors, directors and much more. You can share your movie database to multiple clients, and configure each client to its own parental control limitation, and require pin # to view the full collection.
My Movies is available in about 10 different languages, and movie data can be downloaded in English, German, French or Japanese. With My Movies you can experience your movie collection in a way you never thought possible, filtering your collection by genres, actors, directors, MPAA parental level and much more. My Movies can even help you copy your DVD's to hard drive storage for easy playback!

My Movies indexs all your movies, and automatically downloads movie data such as descriptions, ratings, actors and covers and much more.
 Browse, read about and watch your movies
After indexing your movies, you can browse your movies, view covers, read descriptions, see which actors star in a movie and much more.
 Share collection on multiple clients
You can setup a main movie collection, and have multiple client browse it, and watch movies from it from additional Media Centers or Media Center extenders.
 Full parental controls
With two levels of MPAA based parental controls you have full control, and can require a pin # to watch a movie, or even restrict browsing to a certain MPAA level.
 Create and save movie filters
You can create and save multiple filters to recall movies by parental rating, genre, star rating, and whether or not you have watched the movie.
 Copy DVD's to disk with just your remote
With just the use of your remote, you can backup a DVD to your harddrive and index the movie in the database at the same time, for easy retrieval later on.
My Movies consists of three different items; a Media Center interface, a Collection Management program and an Online Collection WebSite - the Media Center interface differs in looks and feel depending on the operating system it is run on.

Collection Management Program - When you mode outside Media Center, My Movies have a Collection Management program that allows you to edit all details of your movie titles, as well as adding new titles based on barcodes, automatic disc identification, by titles, or manully for personal videos. If you have one or more movie titles that is not known by the My Movies WebService, you can also add these, and contribute them to the WebService to make it available for everyone further on, while you add the same time earn contribution points to do so.
My Movies Online Collection - The titles you have added in My Movies either manually or automatically from the My Movies WebService, can be listed in an Online Collection. This is a website you get on the My Movies WebService, that lists all the titles in your collection online, to share with friends or family. You can either configure it to be open for anyone, or you can password protect it, so that anyone accessing it must know the configured password.
