How to Encrypt and/or Safe Lock Files
& Folders
|
| |
Folder Lock
can safe lock, encrypt or scramble any number or size of files
and folders in it's own 'Locker' folder. Protecting files this
way, is the maximum level of security the program offers, and
at a mind-blowing speed. Safe Locked files are not only protected
on Windows kernel level, but also protected in DOS Mode, Safe
Mode as well as from other Operating Systems. This technique offers
encryption-like safety by protecting files from so many backdoors,
and takes only a second no matter if it's Terabytes (more than
1024 Gbs) of files. Apart from that you can also choose 128-bit
Blowfish Encryption option for virtually unbreakable encryption
or Scrambling option which changes the structure of your files.

How to Add/Lock Files in the Locker?
You can add your files and folders in the 'Locker' by dragging
and dropping files inside it. Or you can right-click those files
and cut and paste them inside the Locker. In other words, you
can keep your files the same way you keep your stuff in any ordinary
folder. See images below for clarification:

How to Lock these files?
Once you've added files and folders in the locker, switch back
to the program and click the lock button to password-protect these
files. Now, you get the opportunity to customize the program according
to your needs. You can choose to 1) Lock, 2) Scramble or 3) Encrypt.
For speed as well as security, choose Lock. For maximum security
at the sacrifice of some speed, choose Encrypt. For a balance
of security and speed, choose Scramble. Safe locked files are
very secure. You'll be using five different locking methods(patent
pending) to secure your files and folders, protecting files at
kernel level, Windows Explorer level and (real) DOS Mode Level.
This makes Folder Lock highly secure, unlike other locking software
that can be hacked by loading a computer in Safe Mode or running
it with a bootable disk.
