Hidden Mysteries - Civil War

Hidden Mysteries: Civil War continues a spate of hidden object games from Activision that includes Hidden Expedition: Titanic, Hidden Expedition: Everest, and four different Mystery Case Files titles.
The hot game- Hidden Mysteries - Civil War takes you to very messy scenes filled with various objects not exactly relevant to the game's whole story. The goal of the game is to complete each list and go forward with the story and that’s basically it. What's unique about this game though is that some of the objects trigger a new development to the story through a letter or a mini game asking you to encrypt a certain message. Find out where some of the smallest, hard-to-find items are locatated and learn the basics of Cannonball so you can get as many hints as you need!
The game will let you understand the actual situation of civil war in the United States. Spanning the period between 1861 and 1865,this time things as you read letters and other manuscripts containing their exact thoughts during those times of war. And if you're just like me, who knew nothing about Unions nor Confederates, then I bet you'll learn much just from playing this one of a kind game too.

The game takes place in static screens with several objects, representing key battles during the war. Some of the objects, like cassette tapes, are quite anachronistic. The goal is to find all objects from a list at the left of the screen. Also, letters and other documents provide background about history and the lives of the characters. |
Some hinted that the game will start. When used, they make one of the required objects glow for some seconds. The player can acquire extra hints any time by playing the Minesweeper-inspired cannonball mini-game.
The game attracted you?Actually, a secret society has hidden millions of dollars in gold, cash and coin in the original battlefields. Being Covetous? General Walker is just to start his journey. Will you go with him? Travel across the battlefields, advance through the war times, search through rivers and grassy knolls! So interesting! Believe me, this day will become special for you! |

The story sequences are very interesting and the sound effects really makes you feel like you're actually in war, and therefore, effectively pulls the player into the whole gaming experience."

" the Hidden Mysteries - Civil War game can be a perfect way to teach people how America was shaped for 5 years by its forefathers. Not really discounting the fun factor, but I still think that this game is meant to be more of a learning tool. I had fun with the story, the game play is very engaging and I guess you guys will find this game worth your try too. Besides, it’s not always that you come across an educationally rich game, right?
