How to find AOL organize directory |

| The AOL Organize directory contains the email, favorites and address books for all of your screen names. The location of the AOL Organize directory depends on the version of AOL and (for AOL 9 only) the version of Windows. |
Important! If the computer had multiple versions of AOL installed, then it will have multiple Organize directories. Since AOL doesn’t migrate data between versions, it is usually necessary to migrate all filing cabinets from all directories to get a complete email history. Note that the location of the AOL user data changed from Program Files to Documents and Settings in AOL 9. |
The paths given below are approximate and may need to be updated for any particular installation computer. For example, for AOL 8 the path would be "America Online 8.0", not "America Online 7.0". |
