Can you tell me if The eCover Creator is compatible with Windows XP? Mac OSX?
Yes! Version 3.0/4.0 is fully OSX and XP native! AND, it'll run on lower end operating systems too. You won't be able to run in in Windows 95 however. If you still have Windows 95, you should probably buy a newer machine :) Microsoft doesn't even support it anymore! - eBook covers creation does take some resources away from your computer no matter the graphic design software. |
If you use The eCover Creator software to create a eBook covers for your company, can that eBook covers be copyrighted? It seems that another company could use the same eBook covers with their name.
Yes, you can copyright your eBook covers.
Even if a user uses the same template - which is highly likely! - the name will be different ... and thus, the eBook covers is different as far as the copyright office is concerned.
If a user happens to have the same name, the same byline, then you're going to have a hassle anyway whether they've used the same template or not! :)
Chances are, you're going to be the only one with your company name. Unless you create a name like "CyberHosting" or something generic like that. |
