Miro, developed by Participatory Culture Foundation, is an Internet television application. With Miro, you can watch free internet video channels and play any video file.
Miro integrates an RSS aggregator, a BitTorrent client, and a media player (VLC media player under Windows, QuickTime under Mac OS X or Xine Media Player under Linux).
Highlight features:
Play almost all media files: Miro can play MPEG, Quicktime, AVI, H.264, Divx, Windows Media, Flash Video, and almost every other major video format.
Seamless BitTorrent: Miro can download individual BitTorrent files and torrents that are in feeds.
