The JTVLAN was designed to be a plugin of TV Scheduler Pro which adds the functionality to view live TV and to stream it to remote computers. Together with TV Scheduler Pro it offers a simple and free solution to stream and view DVB-T television on small networks.

Main features of JTVLAN:

  • Simplified installation and configuration
  • View live TV on any networked PC sharing a single DVB-T capture card installed on a PC
  • Remote clients can change channels
  • Cross platform client, runs on Windows, Linux, MacOS.
  • Low CPU and memory requirements.
  • Configurable streaming settings (UDP unicast or multicast, HTTP).
  • Transcoding to change audio/video bitrates and video size
  • Subtitles burning
  • Recording (both client side and server side) funcionality
  • With some limitation JTVLAN is able handle multiple simultaneous clients controlling a single server instance.


    Requirements of JTVLAN:

  • TV Scheduler PRO 1.0
  • Java JRE or JDK version 6
  • VLC Media Player (version 0.9.8 preferred)
