BroadCam - broadcast live video using a webcam, or other camera, and microphone BroadCam was designed to be an easy to use video streamer created to broadcast live video using a webcam (or other camera) and microphone. It will also stream most pre-recorded video files in formats such as a DivX avi files, Windows asf and wmv files, or cam-corder DV video files.

This video streaming software allows users to monitor multiple cameras sources from the one location making it a very useful and in-expensive security tool. BroadCam is also ideal for lecturers, teachers or webmasters who would like to quickly and easily setup to broadcast video over the internet.

BroadCam handles the audio and video stream compression, player format negotiation, bandwidth adjustment and serving over the Internet. Viewers do not need to install any special software to view a BroadCam webcast. BroadCam streams will play directly from the default web browser on any modern Windows, Mac or Linux computer. BroadCam will also play using a player such as Windows Media Player.

This software has two modes. A free version which has full features but requires you to have a link to our site on every page with a link to the stream. If you do not want to have a link you can buy BroadCam Professional by click here to purchase. The professional version does not require a link back and allows you to customize the play banner. You don't need to purchase to download and it only takes a couple of minutes to complete the process

Audio and Video can be streamed from a camera connected to the server

Any video file can be streamed (as long as Windows Media Player can play the file)

Broad-band and Dial-up streams are provided

Camera output can stream via video or via jpg images

Wide range of browsers can be used to view the output, including those on Mac systems.
