The Store allows you to buy and sell special items which may assist you in your quest for profit. The items vary from weapons (if you have violence enabled), to communications devices (for registered users), to additional storage.

The Store

Items are purchased in the Store. Most locations have a store, and every store has its own selection of items and pricing.

To enter a store, click the Store button on the Location Map. This will open the store interface where you can browse items for sale and make purchases.

To get a description of any item, select the item.

To buy items, you add them to your shopping cart. When you have added all the products you want to buy, you proceed to the checkout to finish your purchase. Items can be added to your cart by:

• Select an item and click the Add Item button.
• Double click an item

As you add items to your cart, the total purchase price will be displayed just above your cart list. You cannot spend more money than you have, although if you've got money in the bank, you may be able to use your ATM card.

When you checkout, the items are added to your item inventory, and the money is deducted from your balance.

You can also sell back some items in the store. To sell an item, click on the Sell button and select an item to sell. Some items, such as ammunition, cannot be sold.

Note: You will only be able to purchase weapons and ammunition if you have enabled the game violence.

Your Item Inventory

Drug Wars - Underworld comes with an item inventory manager to let you manage the special items you are carrying. The item manager is launched by clicking the Items button on the Actions Toolbar.

In the item inventory window, you can equip any item or drop any item using the buttons provided.

Special items which you are carrying do take up space in your trenchcoat, so if you find yourself needing more space, you may wish to purchase something larger to carry your product in.

Using Items

Items come in a variety of types. Items which are in use are 'equipped.' When you purchase an item, and it is the first item of that type that you have bought, it will be automatically equipped for you. For many items, this is all that is necessary to use them.

For example, if you purchase a larger trenchcoat, it will be automatically equipped when you purchase it, and your trenchcoat capacity will be immediately increased.

Weapons and ammunition are only used during conflicts. These items can be selected and used from the conflict window.
