Obviously, at some point, you'll probably want to start a new game. The 'New Game' window appears when you start Drug Wars - Underworld. You can also exit an active game and start a new one by selecting New Game from the File menu.

To start a game, select your game and character options, then click the Play button.

Game Options

Registered users can select a game type (length) and starting location. Users of the free edition are limited to the standard 30-day game and the default location.

To select a game type, choose a game from the drop down list labeled Game. The game types offer a variety of lengths, from a quick 15-day game, up to the massive 365-day game.

To select a starting location, choose a city from the drop down list labeled Location. Each city has its own quirks, so pick one where you feel comfortable.

Character Options

The character options allow you to select the character to use for this game. You can pick a character from the drop down list, create a new character, or edit an existing character before starting the game. For more information on characters, see the Characters section.
